High Accuracy of Precision Granite Casting

To produce highly accurate precision granite castings, the material mix is poured into the mould, which can be in timber or steel, timber moulds giving accuracies of about +/- 1.5 mm or +/- 0.1 mm for steel moulds. Under favourable conditions a flatness of 0.1 over 1 m is achievable. If greater accuracies are required, replication and grouting operations are applied.
